Meadow Hall fetes graduate trainees

The Meadow Hall Graduate Teacher Trainee Programme has concluded its third schedule, leading to the graduation of the participants.
According to a statement, the programme has continued to enhance professionalism and passion for the teaching profession.
The Programme is a three-month training and development initiative aimed at tutoring young graduates who are passionate about the teaching profession, regardless of their discipline.
The GTTP was inaugurated three years ago as an initiative of the Meadow Hall Foundation and it is at no cost to beneficiaries.
During the programme, trainees are introduced to international best practices for effective teaching and learning; and they are provided with opportunities to gain practical hands-on-experience, using the British and Nigerian curricula.
Speaking during the recent graduation ceremony, the guest speaker, Dr. Yemi Amusan, commended the Group Managing Director, Meadow Hall, Mrs. Kehinde Nwani, for her passion for preparing today’s youngsters for future leadership role.
In her remarks, Nwani urged the trainees to use their knowledge to further lift humanity to loftier heights.
She advised them to see teaching as a calling, emphasising the need to have a vision in the face of 21st century challenges.
